Opening Ceremonies

The Opening Ceremony was really cool. For the parade of nationals, club teams from the area (I'm told there are no less than eleven clubs in the area Halifax/Dartmouth area... which is more than in the entire USA, I think) paddled the flags down the course in war canoes.




I only stayed until 9pm, so I missed most of the good stuff... but I did find my family!!
